Join Shannon @ Rocksinmydryer for the weekly What Works for Me Meme and get some really great Tips & Ideas!!
What works for me is the Schick Intuition Razor!! I have dozens of razors but this week I decided to use the Intuition Razor and I must tell you gals, I won't be using any other razor from now on!!
First, the razor is so pretty and a nice size to handle. The cartridge alone looks really large because of the shaving bar that is attached but that shaving bar is phenomenol! It really works! It lathers and shaves in 1 effortless motion and it glides against the skin for a smooth almost magic motion that was really surprising!! It waqs so great that I had to call my daughter up to demonstrate the ease of it,lol!
I really wonder how long the cartridge itself will last as it seems that it melts rather quickly (they do at least provide you with 2 in a pkg!) but this def is Queen of all Razors!!

WFMW
It's been awhile since I last participated in at Rocks in My Dryer Works for Me Wednesday Meme so here is my tip for the week:
What works for me is my FlyLady Timer!! What a help its been for us in getting things organized. I work 8 hrs a day and after coming home I don't really feel like doing anything at all so I used to leave the weekend open for my cleaning, my lists and shopping but it would take me almost all weekend and my Sundays are so filled with us going to Church and having our Family Dinners that would leave us with no time to rest!! Sound all too familiar to anyone?
Since I purchased my timer, I have become all to dependant upon it, in a good way I might add, and it has helped me tremendously! You really can accomplish a lot in 15 minutes, more than I thought I could!! It even makes it fun trying to beat the clock! I just set the timer for 15 minutes and I'll tackle the never ending pile of papers that always seem to "magically" appear from nowhere and beyond and it makes me feel good about getting something done. Then I just go thru out the house 15 min at a time before bedtime getting little chores done so that I have less to do when the weekend comes and more free time!!
Try using any timer and see what you can get done in a matter of minutes!!

Works For Me Wednesday
Happy Middle of the Week Wednesday!! Its time for our weekly WFMW post hosted by Rocks In My dryer!!
This week, what I've come to realize is that I couldn't be without my V-Slicer!! It is an absolute must in my kitchen and I use it quite frequently (can't say that for most of my othet kitchen gadgets though :)
I used to slice potatoes by hand for french fries or fried potatoes and it would take forever that way. So I started looking around and my intention was to buy a mandoline. But have you seen the prices on these things!? Not to mention they look pretty dangerous so I started reading reveiws for other similar slicing products and the Borden V Slicer fit the bill in price and reviews. Which is why its always good to look at reviews for items!!I get uniform slices out of it,it makes for quick chopping/slicing of onions, potatoes, peppers and even grated carrots for our carrot cake. And talk about simple clean up!! Just rinse and put away, that's my idea of easy to clean,LOL!
It definately Works for Me:) What Kitchen Gadget can you NOT live without??

Works For Me Wenesday
Today, Shannon @ Rocks in My Dryer is having a Backwards Edition of WFMW. This means that instead of offering a tip, you ask for one, posting a question that has had you stumped, letting your readers offer advice.
Which is great timing for me as I had Rebecca email me the following question yesterday:
I love my blog but I am not having much luck with people coming and commenting.Any suggestions on how to increase my traffic?
I myself have only been blogging since December of 2007, so I am still learning the tips and tricks as well as reading various articles on how to increase traffic, but as for comments.... How do you get others to post them? I have a very nice traffic flow with lots of visitors but my comments are just as sparse so what to do? I really don't know enough about this subject to really offer her solid advice.....
What are your Suggestions? Let's see how many Comments we get on this one, LOL!

Works for Me Wednesday
It's WFMW again, hosted by Rocks in My Dryer!!Since I work full time, I've found that making dinner can sometimes be hard especially when you are in a rush. I also do not plan my weekly menus as I see some of you that do. I find there is no need for us to plan our meals as we pretty much eat just about the same items on a weekly basis and I try to stock up on meats when they are on sale and keep my pantry full of items that we can just throw together in minutes....
So far my best item that works for me without fail is a box of Pastaroni! It so versatile and can serve either as a side dish or a meal in itself with just a few quick shakes. One of my favorites is the Angel Hair and Parmesan box, add some thawed frozen (already cleaned, peeled and deveined) shrimp from Aldi's (only $4.99 for a nice sized bag) ,throw together a small salad and Voila! Dinner just like in a restauraunt but at half the cost and time!
Or take the Fettucini Alfredo, add some sliced chicken on top and you have yourself Chicken Alfredo in about 15-20 minutes tops!
The boxes usually sell for only $1.39 ea, however there are always coupons out for them and they go on sale often so I never ever pay full price for a box, usually I get them for .50 ea and stock up on all the varieties that we like. It only takes about 15-20 min to cook so it really is a quick meal that tastes great.
