This and That

This week I have been going over the Works for Me Wednesday posts and have found quite a few that I enjoyed reading and thought I would share!So I will just do a Random This and That Post this week to highlight some of my favorite posts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did:)

I confess, I am an old fashioned girl who loves aprons. Nowadays the aprons are very fashionably done and I've had my eye on a few Etsy Shops recently, however they are just too pricey for me at this time (very beautiful though and worth every penny as they are handmade!). I came across Sashwhy's (@ Handprints on the wall) post about how she made do without buying a fancy apron.

As anyone can tell you, I love Baking (my dream was once to own my own Bakery Shop *sigh*) so anyttime I come across a great decorating idea that even I can do, it makes me jump for joy! Gourmet Mom on the Go shares an awesome cake decorating idea that anyone can do and get great results!!

A popular topic that is always hard to come by: a good, quality Christian perspective about Sex (yes,ladies I said it out loud). I'm not talking about ruanchy or degrading but clean, wholesome and GOOD. Well the Diaper Diaries Blog posted a 20 Week Challenge that is excellent and inspiring!

For Spring Cleaning your Windows, SAHMmy wrote a very descriptive detailed post on how to get your Windows Sparkling!!

Memoirs of a Mommy wrote a post about how she organizes her coupons complete with pictures! Very nicely organized indeed!!

This post was interesting to me about Free Tv and movies right on your computer from It Could've Been Worse. Guess the housework will have to wait now,LOL!!

Here we go again! After yesterday's WFMW MEME regarding posting comments, I thought it might be a good idea to make Today's Theme: Blogging!

When I first started blogging, there were so many lessons that had to be learned and I did it through researching other's blogs and sites. My hopes will be that you'll be able to learn something new and apply to your own Blog to help increase your readership and making a few new friends along the way doesn't hurt either:-)

The Importance of Writing a Good Blog Title is the start to good blogging and Sophie gives a quick informative overview.

ProBlogger lists 10 Tips on Writing a Blog Post which goes back to the basics but always so helpful nonetheless.

A wonderful reader suggested that I make This & That a weekly post. I really do enjoy reading others' blogs and learning new ideas or just creative ways to save even more and I just loved the idea!! Thanks Jeannie for the Creative Inspiration:)


I think how we'll do this is by choosing a theme each week and point others in the direction to the blogs that have an article/post relating to the theme. Are any of you interested in any particular subject that you'd like to know more of? Or would you like your blog to be one that get gets "showcased" If so,email us and let us do the rest:)
